　　18m乘18m方形，1层半，首层高5.5m，二层高4.5m；9m乘9m钢筋混凝土柱网，95%白色加5%湖蓝色马赛克外墙饰面；约15年历史；原设计作厂区冷却机房用。

　　18m-by-18m’s square site, with one and a half floors; 5.5m for the ground-floor height, and 4.5m for the first-floor height; 9m-by-9m’s reinforced-concrete structure; 95% white and 5% light-blue mixed mosaic fa?ade; originally designed to house the cooling system.

　　一个工作室，一个画廊，一个试图置身大生产以外的乌托邦想法。

　　A studio, a gallery, and utopian ideas to escape from the mass production.

构思 / The concept

　　按照南北向9m乘18m的基本空间单位，整个建筑空间被分隔成3个基本部分：
　　单位一：9m乘18m乘5.5m，虚空空间，与住入口相连，随时向各种可能性开放；
　　单位二：9m乘18m乘5.5m，机器，包含会议室、模型室和展示室；
　　单位三：9m乘18m乘4,5m，位于二层，工作室。

Based on the 9m-by-18m space layout unit, the whole building space is divided into 3 parts:

Unit 1: 9m by 18m by 5.5m, a void, connecting to the main entrance, open to any possibilities;

Unit 2: 9m by 18m by 5.5m, a machine, incorporating functions like meeting, exhibition, and model workshop;

Unit 3: 9m by 18m by 5.5m, locating on the first floor, as a studio.

生长 / Growing

　　随着使用者介入，单位空间的数量也在成长：

　　单位四：9m乘18m乘1m~∞，二层与工作室对应的户外空间；会客室，茶室，餐厅……

　　单位五：9m乘18m乘∞，空中园林；……

As the users move in, the number of space units increases:

Unit 4: 9m by 18m by 1m~∞, an out-door space facing the studio, as the living room, the tea house, the dinning room……
